Mount Kalaga
Highland nature reserve and elevated state park in northern Leonida, featuring dirt trails, forestry roads, and radio antennas.
Leonida’s mountain
Mount Kalaga is one of Leonida’s six official regions and the only mountainous one. It covers the north of the map and completely changes the landscape compared to the beaches and swamps of the south.
What is confirmed
- It is an official map region, presented by Rockstar alongside Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia.
- It is the state’s high ground and forest area.
Rockstar’s creative liberty
Florida is one of the flattest states in the US. Its highest point, Britton Hill, is about 105 meters (345 feet) high, the lowest state high point in the whole country. Mount Kalaga does not copy a real place: it adds something Florida does not have, just as Mount Chiliad became the signature landmark of GTA V’s landscape.
What is expected, unconfirmed
Given the terrain, forest trails for off-roading, viewpoints and small rural communities are expected, but Rockstar has not detailed what activities there will be. The marker position is also based on signs and license plates the community has identified in official footage, so it is approximate.
