Vice City Bay (Biscayne Bay)
The large body of water separating the Vice City mainland from the beach islands.
The bay between the city and the beach
Between downtown Vice City and the beach strip lies a large body of water dotted with islands and bridges. The community’s collaborative map identifies it with Biscayne Bay, Miami’s bay. Rockstar has not given it an official name.
The real-world reference
Biscayne Bay is a lagoon about 56 kilometers (35 miles) long that separates the mainland from the barrier islands where Miami Beach sits. Bridges and causeways cross it to connect the city with the beach, and at its southern end lies Biscayne National Park, almost entirely water and reef.
That geography explains why bridges and boats matter so much for getting around Vice City: the city is split by water. Some of its islands, such as the Venetian Islands, have their own entry.
What is not confirmed
- The bay’s name in the game.
- Which islands will be accessible and whether they will have interiors.
- Specific water activities beyond boating.
We mark it as speculation: the water is in the trailers; its name and what it will hold are not.
