The real-world reference
Homestead is a city in southern Miami-Dade County, southwest of Miami. It is the last large town before the Keys and the gateway to two national parks: Everglades and Biscayne. Its surroundings are agricultural, with nurseries and tropical crops, and it is home to the Homestead-Miami Speedway and an air reserve base.
In 1992, Hurricane Andrew devastated the city and became one of the costliest natural disasters in US history.
Why it would fit in Leonida
A hinge town between Vice City, the Leonida Keys and Grassrivers would make sense on a map that links city, keys and swamp.
