Vice Dale County
A densely populated urban county encompassing parts of the Vice City metropolitan area.
Vice City’s county
Vice Dale County appears on the community’s collaborative map as the county surrounding Vice City. Rockstar has not confirmed it, but the wordplay is obvious: Vice Dale is to Vice City what Miami-Dade is to Miami.
The real-world reference
Miami-Dade is Florida’s most populous county, with more than two and a half million residents. Besides the city of Miami it includes Miami Beach, Hialeah, Homestead and a large part of the Everglades. Many things we associate with “Miami” actually depend on the county: its police, the international airport and public transit.
The series already played with this idea in GTA V, where Blaine County surrounded Los Santos and had its own police force, the Blaine County Sheriff.
What is not confirmed
- The county’s official name in GTA VI.
- Its borders and which towns it includes.
- Whether it will have its own police forces.
We mark it as speculation until launch.
